Donations

Card donations are processed by Stripe. The site sends the selected amount, donation frequency, optional name and email, and fee-coverage preference to Stripe Checkout. Stripe handles card details; this website does not store full payment-card numbers.

Donation records

Checkout and webhook records may be stored in MongoDB so completed donations, monthly gifts, receipts, and donor questions can be matched and supported.

Volunteer information

The volunteer form stores the contact details, availability, help preferences, and notes you choose to submit. This information is used to match offers of help with rescue needs and to follow up with you.

No website accounts

This website does not provide user accounts or sign-in. Stripe handles card details and recurring payments on its secure checkout pages.

Sharing and retention

Submitted information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers needed to operate donations, hosting, and data storage. Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for donor support, volunteer coordination, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may ask what information was submitted, request a correction, or ask for deletion when the record is not required for accounting or legal purposes.
